All breeds of dogs may not be suitable as a pet if you live in an apartment. Living space, in fact, is a very important consideration when you select a breed of dog as a pet.  People living in apartments don't have enough space. They should select small dogs as pets.

These small breeds could easily be accustomed to an apartment life by providing them training and taking them outdoors for exercise. Most often, these small breeds are not very aggressive or unruly and don't create much trouble in case you live in an apartment.

Lowchen also happen to be a breed that can be kept as a pet if you live in an apartment. They need to be brushed on a regular basis. They don't need a daily dose of exercise. They are not hyperactive and thus perfectly fit the environment of a small apartment home.
