But, you must keep it in mind that all the toy dogs are not similar. Some of them are active and perform a lot of activities. They require a lot of exercise to stay fit and healthy. There are others who bark a lot. Some of them may not intermingle with the other pets in a friendly manner and feel insecured in company of other pets.

However, when going out to buy a toy dog do take care to not buy one that has some allergic problems. It could create a lot of inconvenience at a later stage. In case the dog is allergic, you would be uncomfortable treating him like a companion. You need to be additionally careful since the statistics in the field of the veterinary science claim that almost all the toy dogs are subject to some sort of allergic problems or the other. This is also known as hypoallergenic in the medical terminology.

The allergy in humans too is a result of contact with some particular breeds of dogs. These breeds are known to produce less dander that may lead to allergy in pet owners. The people who have allergic problems to the dogs should consider some particular breeds of toy dogs like the Chinese crested hairless dogs. They are less prone to allergies and therefore are a much better choice.
