Pomeranians Are Great Pets
Pomeranians are fun as pets. This breed is always in demand because of its beautiful look and attractive fur coat. On the other hand, these  dogs once fully grown need to have their hair brushed and groomed on a daily basis.

This breed of dog is classified as a miniature or toy breed. It has two coats, an undercoat and a top coat of long and straight hair.  The Pomeranian or Pom for short is a wonderful family animal that has gentle manners and gets along very well with the family.

These small dogs have been a regular companion of nobility, royalty and celebrities over the ages. Women are especially fond of these beautiful and furry creatures. Pomeranians are blessed with perhaps the most sparkling and attractive of eyes amongst all breeds of dogs. These dogs are very often, the center of attraction just because of their eyes.

It is a very intelligent and responsive breed. Dogs of this breed can be very easily trained and they are eager to please their owner. Apart from brushing and grooming, there is not much that you have to very about when you have a Pom as a pet.

In spite of their diminutive size, these dogs are not timid or shy and can become very aggressive. More often than not, their aggression is directed towards breaking delicate things in the house.

Poms are known to weigh up to a maximum of sixteen pounds. As puppies, these dogs need to be fed three times a day. Make sure that it eats the food and do not feed it any scraps or snacks in between.
