These puppies are very much tolerant to kids as long as they are used to kids from a very young age. Ensure that you buy this puppy from a breeder who has a good reputation and knows how to train these dogs.

Usually, these dogs have a calm posture. However, if required a German shepherd can be ferocious and can guard owner and family with life. It is required that the dog is reared and trained properly and firmly from a very young age. If you give them proper training, they would abide by it for the rest of their life.

?Dogs of this breed can be entertaining dogs. At the  same time German shepherds are excellent watchdogs and guard dogs. The dogs are very agile and their intelligence is matched by very few other breeds. The breed however is known to be a one man dog.

Shepherd puppies must be provided with chew pet when they are teething. Otherwise, they will chew anything in close range. They should also be provided with proper potty training and adorning them with dog accessories is not at all a bad idea.
