There are many amongst us who treat their dogs and pups as more than pets. They consider them to be another essential part of their life and hence when they are gone they feel an immense sense of loss. While there is no way in which this sense of loss can be overcome, there are ways in which you can cherish the memories of your dog or pup- by memorializing it.

Ways in Which You Can Memorialize Your Pet Dog or Pup
Memorializing your pet dog or pup can be a good way to overcome the grief you are feeling. However, there is no one specific place for you to memorialize your pet. You can do in the following different ways:

Garden Stones: A memorable line written by you for your dead dog or pup can be an excellent way to cherish its memory. These are good especially if you buried your dog or pup in your own backyard.

Framed Memorials: Framed memorials are another way to keep the memory of your dog/pup going inside you. You can frame anything, from a simple photograph of your dog to a elaborately prepared citation for it.

Pet Headstones: Pet headstones are an excellent way to make your pet dog's memory a part of your daily existence. These can be engraved with your dog's name and then placed on the fireplace altar.

Pet Urns: These are yet another expression of your undying love for your dog. These can be used to store the last mortal remains of your dog (if you have cremated and not buried it). A picture of your dog on it along with its dateline can complete the urn. Place it on the altar so that it is visible all the time.

Pet Caskets: This is the best manner of expressing your undying appreciation for what your dog/puppy did for you. Placing their lifeless body in a casket would indicate a stately funeral befitting the important position which they held in your life.

Sympathy Cards: If you want to express grief on the loss of someone else's pet dog which you also happened to like then sympathy cards are the best means to express such an emotion. These can often double up as memorials for the owners of the dead pet.

Tear Bottles: A somewhat far-fetched idea, many people do find solace in keeping some part of their dog close to them (in this case, their tears). These tear bottles can be used to store the tears of your dog/pup and then turned into a memorabilia.
