Most dog lovers come up with dog health questions as they are not fully aware of what is to be done when it comes to caring for their pet dogs. Most of these dog health questions revolve around proper medication for dogs. Dog owners often are unaware about what or what not to give in case their pet dog has a problem.

Osteoarthritis is a common malady among dogs. Etogesic and Metacam are amongst the suggested drugs to treat this condition. Aspirin or paracetamol can also be administered in case of minor fever. An over dosage of medicine should be avoided, especially in case of a puppy. Pregnant dogs must also be provided with best medical care.

Health needs of small dogs and bigger dogs differ greatly. You must know the difference. At the time of adopting a dog, you should acquaint yourself with the health problems that your dog’s breed is susceptible to. It is better to err on the side of caution and take your pet to a vet, in case you feel that the pet is not well.
